McHenry is a small, close community located in Garrett County, Md., on the northern most shore of Deep Creek Lake. Located on the outskirts of McHenry are commercial developments, as well as educational institutions such as Garrett College, as well as the Garrett County Airport, Wisp Ski Resort, (the best skiing in all of Maryland!), the Golf Club at Wisp and Adventure Sports Center International.
