One of the high-profile student ‘faces of Promise,’ Casanova has met face-to-face with First Lady Michelle Obama, U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal, Connecticut governor Dannel Malloy and New Haven Mayor Toni N. Harp in her role as Program Assistant at New Haven Promise headquarters.

In her role she serves an array of responsibilities, including pledge and application recruitment within New Haven Public Schools, outreach to the New Haven Promise scholars on campus and event management. All the while, she is an Honors Student at Albertus Magnus College, where she is a sophomore.

Casanova has also been devoted to community service and can be seen at a variety of functions filling the needs of non-profits and student-based endeavors. Perhaps her deepest volunteer commitment remains with College Summit Connecticut, for whom she served as a peer leader while attending Metropolitan Business Academy.
