cop-logo-pensacolaStudents from the City of Pensacola will have more opportunity to pursue higher education with the Pensacola Pledge Scholarship Program, thanks to the generosity of Quint and Rishy Studer, who have served to physically and economically develop Pensacola and now turn their attention to the city’s human capital.

Students who live in Pensacola, graduate from a public high school in Escambia County and enter the University of West Florida or Pensacola State College will receive renewable scholarships of up to $8,000 as long as they meet on-going eligibility requirements.

In addition to financial support, scholars are acknowledged at city events, community events such as Pensacola Blue Wahoos baseball games, UWF and Pensacola State College events and graduation. Little is asked in return with a notable exception.

“With our Pensacola Pledge Scholarships for high school graduates, we request graduates to become mentors to high school students,” said Rishy Studer. “It’s important for young people to learn the importance of giving to others.”
