cop-logo-promise-for-the-futureheadsup-logoEstablished in 2004 with a major gift from Phoenix’s Kemper and Ethel Marley Foundation, Promise for the Future was designed to encourage students from Pinal County to stay in high school, graduate with a 2.75 grade point average and perform community service each year. Students along with their parents/guardian sign a contract of commitment during the students’ eighth-grade year. Students graduating from a Pinal County high school who have fulfilled the requirements of the Promise for the Future contract will be eligible for the Promise for the Future Scholarship. This scholarship entitles them to free tuition to any Central Arizona College campus for up to four consecutive semesters.
