The Youth 2 Leaders Education Foundation — dedicated to developing the next generation of Kern County professionals since 1994 — is focused upon substantially increasing the number of high school students attending a community college or university and significantly impacting the rate that student’s achieve their post-secondary education objectives.

The Future Leaders Scholarship is designed to aid graduating seniors who demonstrate financial need in attaining their goal of attending a community college or university. Students must begin attendance in Fall and carry a minimum of 12 quarter or semester units. Between 50 and 100 scholarships are annually awarded. In addition to scholarships, Youth 2 Leaders also provides both financial aid workshops and pre-college camps.
